PRO-active Whole Horse Hoof 1 day Intensive Course with Beccy Smith BSc ADAEP EBW - Holistic Equine Podiatrist & Consultant

Prevention is always better than cure and this is now more relevant than ever with lameness on the increase!

This course will help you become a more responsible horse carer by recognising signs of ill health earlier and facilitating well-being and resilience in your horse from head to toe!

This is a very practical course and topics include:

· Basic functional anatomy of the lower limb

· Recognising signs of ill-health in the hoof and horse

· How to identify lameness and when to call the vet

· No gut, not foot, no horse - holistic approach to hoof care

· Horse handling for hoof care maintenance and demo trim

· Hoof mapping and documenting for horse owners

· Restoring and maintaining health in the foot and hoof

· How to care for hooves between professional visits

This course is suited to both horse carers and owners AND professionals. Beccy's unique approach to holistic horse and hoof care is unique and you won't learn her approach on other horse courses. Her approach is inspired by Applied Equine Podiatry and TACT methods as well as independent study of functional anatomy and lameness in horses.

No experience is necessary but some horse handling skill is useful. You do not have to participate in ANY horse handling BTW!

FROM: Registration from 9:00 AM. Please arrive between 9am and 9.15 to begin at 9:30am prompt.

COST: Price is £88/ticket* and this includes handouts and mapping tools!

ABOUT BECCY: Beccy has over 26 years industry experience and has been a hoof care professional for 11 years. Beccy is qualified in Advanced Applied Equine Podiatry and Equine Body Work and considers herself an Independent Holistic Equine Podiatrist. Having a curious, open and enquiring mind combined with an open heart has served Beccy well and she is skilled at recognising early signs indicating a loss of health in horses. REFUND POLICY: If due to unforeseen circumstances we (Holistic Reflections CIC) have to cancel the event at ANY time, we will provide the following 2 options regarding refunds:

Option 1: Your ticket will be transfeRred to OUR new live online video courses held over 2 x 3 hour periods PLUS you will receive an online hoof health review with Beccy worth a total value of £132!

Option 2: A full refund of the ticket purchase cost will be provided.

If due to any cIrcumstances, you (the ticket purchaser) request a refund of your ticket within 1 week of the course date we will refund 50% of the cost of the ticket with no questions asked. If you request a refund before 1 week of the course (before registration is closed) we will refund 75% of the ticket cost. PLUS, if we are able to fill your place, we will refund the remainder and provide a full refund!
