About The Event
Yewcroft Stone Circle based outside Wilton village near Egremont is a recently resurrected monument (2013) thought to be a prehistoric Neolithic stone circle. It is registered with Cumbria Sites and Monuments Record (SMR No. 40367) as ‘Druids Temple’. It was given this name as it was recorded on a map c.1777 as Druids Temple.
This event provides an opportunity to visit the circle and learn a little about its history and the energy effect it has on the land. Beccy and Val will show you the Circle and some basic stone circle etiquette - approx. 30 mins. You are then free to explore the circle and the nearby nature - we highly recommend a walk in Wilton forest - it is magical and we are happy to join you for a fun walking meditation!
Please feel free to bring your own dowsing equipment. We have dowsing rods available for sale by prior order.
We are run courses where you can learn how to connect with the energy in the land and 'read' the energy it holds! For more information visit www.holisticreflections.co.uk/events-1
Why not book a place on our even "Living in Harmony with Stone Circles & Earth Energies"? on MIDSUMMERS DAY! Click HERE for more info and to book your place today!
We are providing this event for free but if you would like to donate to our not for profit organisation Circle Healing Centre; we would be very grateful for any contributions. There is limited parking and use of a rest room at our property about 150 yards away. Due to parking limitations on-site, we are offering this event throughout the year for small groups. Browse our events for more dates!
We have a Facebook page for Yewcroft Stone Circle and invite you to connect with us there too: www.facebook.com/yewcroftstonecircle/
Parking is at Yewcroft where there is use of a toilet and maybe even a cuppa if you fancy a chat! Well behaved children are allowed but sadly no dogs at the property (we have rescue cats in and around the property and dogs of our own). For directions, google Holistic Reflections. From Wilton village, drive up the hill and just as you leave the village there will be a cream cottage standing alone facing down the hill on the right called Dyke Nook. Just in front of the cottage is a lane. Turn down this lane and go past the large dairy farm on the right. Yewcroft house and yard is on the right. Drive slowly into the yard and sound your horn and we will show you where to park.
